What Burton Did Next

Burton spent the weekend with my Mum and Step Dad to help me out while Daddy was away rallying in Wales. It was really lovely for him as he has a wonderful time with them, and I was able to catch up on my domestic duties and spend some time with Jenson.

While he was away my Step Dad emailed me several times with photos of what my son was up to with some amusing comments and I thought I would share them on my blog, because they not only made me smile but they enabled me see what Burton was up to while he was away.

Just so you know, for the purpose of this post:
*Burton had not had any naps last week for one reason or another and was knackered when grandad picked him up Friday after tea.
*I had packed some chocolate buttons in his case for grandad, as he had a bad back
*The wording after each photo is what I was sent with each photo

Its 10.15, he has just finished his breakfast after not getting out of his 'pit' until 9.30. He intends on relaxing for a while before taking his morning bath, reckons it could be midday before taking us out to lunch to M and S by bus!

After all that I nearly missed the bus, off to Marks for Sausages cheese and cheddars, I don' know what Grandad and Grandma are having!

I have eaten all my pasta and meat balls, but I will tell you what Mummy, I' m getting flaming well fed up with Grandad, we haven't had any buttons yet today, there is a packet in my case, I'm going to get them out when Grandad goes to sleep in a minute.

I have just got and its only 8.30, think its a bit early really! I will get Grandad to cook me sausages, then marmite on toast, Grandma says I should have fruit (what do Grandmas know). Got to go home today.

I am posing for my marmite eating experience, now on my second piece having licked the marmite off the toast first, displacing a certain amount on my chops for later, unless Grandma makes me wash soon!


I think he enjoyed his weekend away!
