Skeanie Shoes A Review & Discount

When I was growing up my Mum was very particular about the type of footwear my brother and I had. While my friends had fashionable shoes from trendy high street shoe shops, I had to wear what I call 'pasty' sandals in the summer, and black lace up shoes in the winter. They came from a well known shoe shop, where the range back then for children with very wide feet (like me) were limited and to be honest compared to my friends shoes,  I hated them! 


My mum always told my brother and I that healthy feet were very important and by looking after them while we were growing, was essential for later life so we wouldn't suffer with feet problems as a result of wearing ill fitting shoes during our childhoods.

Of course, she was right. Well our Mum's normally are however much we would prefer them not to be. As a Mummy myself now, I want to ensure that both of my children wear decent well fitting shoes, to enable them to look after their feet and avoid problems when they are older. I also buy their shoes from that well known shoe shop, but recently I was asked to try some shoes made by SKEANIE.

In the end, however, I chose the navy sneaks as the colours would go with most of his trousers and I liked their shape. Burton excitedly opened the box they arrived in and immediately wanted to try them on!

They certainly feel really soft and he hasn't worn socks with them and they haven't rubbed against his feet at all. We haven't worn them outside as much as I would liked to have done since being asked to trial these shoes, due to all the rain we have had, and Burton has been wearing his wellington boots a lot more. However, he has worn them a few times and he is able to put them on himself quite easily and family members have commented on how smart his new shoes are :)

SKEANIE shoes are approved by the Australian Podiatry Assocation and top world-wide podiatrists and feature several design features specifically aimed at promoting healthy little feet. 

SKEANIE shoes are comparable in price with the well known shoe shop that I usually buy Burton and Jenson's shoes from, the navy sneaks sell for £39.99 which considering they are hand crafter from eco -leather, I don't consider to be too expensive.

I for one will definitely be checking the SKEANIE website out again for future shoe purposes for my boys because I think the designs available and the actual product itself are well made and a great shoe.
