In typical Bank Holiday Monday style (which actually was true for the whole weekend on the whole), it rained ALL day long. By mid afternoon we had resigned ourselves to watching Kung Fu Panda 2 and I for one was feeling sleepy and the boys were getting restless so I suggested that we kit ourselves out to be resilient to the rain by wearing waterproof coats and shoes and we headed off to the park with Burton's bike for a splash about.
It was the first time that Jenson has really been proper puddle splashing and he loved it and didn't stop smiling. Burton had lots of fun cycling through puddles and then decided to dismount and join in the puddle fun!!
Well if you cant beat the rain, you may aswell join in and get wet!!
I am linking this up to The Gallery where this weeks theme is Movies

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. I love the way you've laid all the photos out, adding the lyrics and your take on the theme.
ReplyDeleteThe boys look like they are having so much fun. Especially Jenson who really looks like he's dancing. He's starting to look far too grown up now xx
A lovely post that combines great outdoor fun with a movie. Love their waterproof jackets :) x

looks like they were having a great time, when they're that age they never seem to notice the rain...it's just as we get older that it seems to bother us! x
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of fun x
ReplyDeleteEvery time it heavily rains I keep meaning to pop on our wellies and coats and head outside to jump in puddles, but I am usually never home when it does! It looks like a lot of fun! x

ReplyDeleteVery clever. Kids love puddles don't they!
ReplyDeleteOh Jenny these are the most gorgeous photos; so carefree and happy. They look like they had the most amazing time, it's a real lesson to show everyone who is moaning about the rain: get out there! I love the way that you've edited them.
ReplyDeleteVery clever interpretation of the them and exactly what puddle suits were made for!
