Following on from my original you know you're a mummy when..... post from a while ago here are some more reasons why I know there is no going back for me!!
Are any of these familar to you too?
Instead of an alarm clock you a woken up with "mummy I done a poo" early in the morning.
You then send out a tweet informing people that you were woken up that morning, by your child telling you that they had done a poo!
You have to repeat things over and over and over again!
You have never tried to hide so many vegetables in meals before
Most popular words you say are 'no' , 'stop' , 'get down', 'sit nicely', 'eat your (insert meal time name here) please' etc...
Snotty kisses tend to be the only kisses you get nowadays
There is more food for your children in the fridge than there is for you
You clap your hands and almost do a celebratory dance when your child eats all their meal
You find small stones in the washing machine
You find small stones in your pockets and/or handbag
Cushions spend more time on the floor than on the sofa/chairs
Instead, or aswell as (!) dust collecting underneath your furniture there are child related items eg, plastic balls, wooden shapes, plastic figures, toy cars, etc. (I am always amazed at what I find lurking under my sofa, cabinets etc..)
The side of the bath is cluttered with more toys and bath time products for the children than your own lotions and potions
You find yourself singing, either out loud or in your head, various CBeebie theme tunes in particular the Happy Birthday song, Raa Raa The Noisy Lion and Timmy Time are favourites of mine. Ok so maybe just in my head then!
When you receive gift vouchers for your birthday, you end up buying clothes for your children instead
You find yourself tutting at the TV screen when you see women in labour on OBEM and thinking "come on it wasn't that bad"!
The only black bags you are familiar with are the ones under your eyes and the ones that you put rubbish in!!
any thing else you care to share?
